Wanted To Share My LO

Long time no post but I have been working sleeping working sleeping. Oh and freezing my butt off in between. On the up side though 2 weeks until I go to Vanuatu on holidays.YIPPEE!!
I am in the process of making a Brag Book for my StepDad filled with piccies of myself & my Lil sis and I wanted to share one of the layouts I came up with.
I used KimB's All That Jazz to create it.Well actually I pulled some elements from the All That Jazz QP Kim made also. I was torn because I loved the quick page but I really wanted to use the top hat as a frame so I played Frankenstein. The brag book is all 5x7 and I am loving it and will share some more LO's later.

My First Shared Template

I'm not ever going to mention what time it is at the moment, but I know I should be sleeping :( I didn't work last night and I had a very early "Nanny Nap" and once I woke up that was it. I am so going to pay for this at work tonight. Oh well as long as I make it to midnight it's okay at least its the weekend once I get home. So to amuse myself since I couldn't get back to sleep I did a LO with a template I made. Yes little old me was stuffing around in psp and made a template inspired by a photo of myself and my two bestest guy friends in the world. We have all been friends since the first year of high school and the photo was taken at Gregs Wedding. So here's the LO and a lil preview of the template I made. Its pretty basic but I am sure could be jazzed up heaps more than I have here.

Thursdays Shopping Bags

Well I have been out and about again today and trekked over to IkeaGoddesses place and she pointed me in the direction of Val Gouveia's blog where I picked up a very colourful kit called Kit Grazi. Its jam packed with elements (50 in all not including papers)Fantastic kit.
Next I strolled off to Kim B's, a well worn path that one, where I snapped up her devine Seeds Of Today template. I love Kim's work no matter what it is she just has the "knack" if you know what I mean.
Then I popped over to PillowGirls for the next installment of her Patterns Of Elegance kit, I just love the combination of colours she has used here. Today she has ribbons and bows.
Then I flew over to Princess Pamela's blog (although I think she should be Queen) and grabbed her Birthday template. She is taking down her current freebies because of space of 4shared which lets face it she can't have much space left with all the goodies she shares with us.
Next I headed for Anita's "Nana's Attic" and she has this gorgeous quick page.

So ladies, thanks heaps for the shopping for today, time to play now. HUGS :)

Just Plain Envious

I have just been on my daily trek around the world via the web looking at all of the lovely creations and free items offered and I did my daily stop at Silvia's blog and she had a listing for Kat_AKA_faith42love displaying a delightful purples kit called Wish Upon A Star. Now everyone knows I am a huge sucker for all things purple so I clicked on over for a closer look and WOW, it is just great. I know I say it a lot but I am so envious of these designers along with being grateful that they share the creations they make. I have been mucking around doing a brag book and I have been doing some templates that I am toying with the idea of sharing, I am just unsure of my skill level but I will keep you posted.

Anyways pop on over to Kats blog, she also has a cute little Summer Stylin kit as well thats pastels with a cool charm like alpha.

I Found The Coolest Template

I found the coolest template over at cafe digi. I was there snapping up another wonderful item created by Debi( Lifes Journey Cafe Book, its just amazing too)and I scrolled back through to the previous page and I am so happy that I did.I don't know how I had missed this template on my previous visits to Debi's blog but I have it now. Template #3 is so simple and yet quirky at the same time, I just love it. As luck would have it I only a few days ago also found Ronna Penner's Express Yourself kit which has great stationery type elements so I teamed them up for my latest LO.
I have recently been doing a heap of 5x7 LO's for a project I am putting together and Debi's template was just a perfect addition.

Back Again

Has been a little while since I posted any of my layouts so I thought I'd pop one up.
I was so inspired by the clever elements in Jannidee's You've Got Male kit that this is what I came up with. I am one of those Single women paying off her own home, you know the type. Jaded by males but miss them when the work gets real hard...lol.
So lucky for me I have the best family in the world. A few years back I bought my home and two months later my family gave up their usual Easter plans to come and help me add a patio and garden shed to my new home. It was a great long weekend once we got past the fact that the supplier of the patio had actually sent parts for 3 different patios ( ROLL EYES HERE ). We toiled ahead and got it done and I am so happy with it. I had actaully rented the place for a few years prior and when they owners wanted to sell they gave me first option and I jumped at it. It is 15 mins from my work and has a really good shopping centre close by, it was just meant to be I say. So here's my LO of the workers, my family & I love them to bits.
